Outline for Teens class on WebEx

1. Set up and introductions - approximately 20 minutes

Trainer – introduce yourself

Teach the webex functionality (we will have a separate document for this to refer to for all classes)

Class introduction – find out who is in the class

Review what we will cover – outline of the content and goals

Ask them to have the printouts that were emailed to them on their desks for reference.


2. SIRS Discoverer Deluxe – 10 minutes quick review, good for up through high school

3. SIRS Renaissance – 25 minutes

4. Gale Virtual Reference Library - 15 minutes

5. InfoTrac Student Edition – 25 minutes

break time


6. LearningExpress Library – 20 minutes

7. NoveList – 20 minutes

8. Books & Authors - 15 minutes

9. Health and Wellness Resource Center – 10 minutes, remind it's in the Health class

10. Educator's Reference Complete – for staff – show it to them, discuss what’s in it for 5 minutes max

11. MORE – for staff – show it to them, discuss what’s in it for 10 minutes max

12. Wrap up and evaluations
