ESSENTIALS B OUTLINE FOR WEBEX

3 hours (break time adds 15 minutes)

1. Set up and introductions - approximately 20-25 minutes

Trainer – introduce yourself

Teach the webex functionality (we will have a separate document for this to refer to for all classes)

Class introduction – find out who is in the class

Review what we will cover – outline of the content and goals

Review what is in the class packet – have them pull out handouts to keep in front of them, point out contact info on blue sheet, point out "handy URL's" sheet, etc.

1. FirstSearch WorldCat and OAISTER - 30 minutes, then have class do exercises

2. CAMIO and ArchiveGrid – 25 minutes, then have class do exercises

break time

3. SIRS Renaissance – 30 minutes, then have class do exercises

4. LearningExpress Library – 25 minutes, then have class do exercises

5. HeritageQuest – 15 minutes, then have class do exercises

6. NoveList - 20 minutes, then have class do exercises

7. Evaluations and wrap up – 10 minutes – remind them to PLEASE respond to the evaluation survey from the workshop email
