Most of these can be answered using either the keyword search or the graphical subject tree search. Try some each way to become familiar with the variety of search techniques available.


1. Find a picture of a Victoria Falls.


3. Use the Browse Subject Tree boxes to find an “easier to read” article about tornadoes.


4. Find information about the Islamic celebration of Ramadan. Email the article to yourself.


5. Find three things a student could do to write a better conclusion to a research paper.


6. Find a chart/graph that shows information about cats.


7. Find a map and flag of the country of New Zealand.


8. Use the dictionary to look up the word “conservation.”
