link titleThe following is a list of libraries who provide home delivery or other outreach services to the homebound in their communities. Please feel free to add your library's information to this list.

Baldwin Public Library provides service to homebound residents in Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Bloomfield Township and Birmingham. Homebound patrons may receive all manner of library materials through the mail or via home delivery.

Chelsea District Libraryoffers home delivery service as a way to get materials to those that might not otherwise have access.

Kalamazoo Public Library offers Via Mail and will send homebound patrons any material that circulates (except videos).

Madison Heights Public Library offers home delivery of books to homebound patrons.

Novi Public Library The Specialized Services department at the Novi Public Library is committed to removing the barriers to accessing information caused by various disabilities and making library resources available to everyone. Staff members deliver books, magazines, and audiobooks to area residents who are not able to travel to the library themselves. The patron must be a resident of the city of Novi and be physically unable to travel to the library.

Rochester Hills Public Library Outreach Services Program is a multi-faceted approach to enabling individuals with special needs to maintain independence and enhance personal growth. By providing easy access to library resources and specialized services and by offering challenging enrichment programs, the library hopes to increase options in the areas of education, leisure time activities, and information access.

Sanilac District Library provides Books on Wheels, homebound delivery service for people unable to leave their homes. Books, audio books, large print books and CDs may be borrowed. The service is available for individuals of all ages, unable to access our library in person, either on a temporary or permanent basis. Books on Wheels delivers collections of books to nursing homes and other group sites.

Willard Public Library has developed several Outreach programs to deliver library services in non-traditional ways.

William P. Faust Public Library of Westland offers a delivery service for Westland residents who are confined to their homes. After a personal interview, a librarian selects materials of interest for each patron, which a volunteer will drop off and pick up every second Wednesday. Homebound patrons may receive: books (large or regular print), audiobooks, periodicals, videos and DVDs, CDs and cassettes.
