Sample Policies
Sample 1: To guarantee these rights and create a safe and welcoming environment, it is the policy of the (library name) to ban pets and animals in the library, except for service dogs and pets participating in library programs.
Sample 2: Animals are not permitted in the Library, except for those assisting the handicapped (such as leader dogs for the blind), or in special circumstances with the specific permission of the Director or his/her designee.
