Workshop Locations
MLC offers workshops at the MLC Training Center in Lansing and at various other sites throughout the state. MLC also offers a variety of online training options.  On-site training at individual libraries is available.

Workshop Content
Ongoing workshops include numerous topics in cataloging, reference, interlibrary loan, Internet, preservation, and telecommunications. For detailed information on current workshops and charges, please contact MLC to request a copy of our latest workshop schedule or visit our web site.

Special Programs
Each year, MLC offers special programs highlighting "hot topics" of interest to librarians. Past programs have included Digital Libraries, Metadata, Remote Access, and Electronic Books.

Customized Training
MLC is pleased to offer custom-designed training to fit the special needs of your library. Specialized training is offered on a custom-quote basis.

MLC Instructors
MLC workshops are taught by librarians who not only are experts in particular subject areas, but also are daily practitioners of what they teach. Consortium staff who have access to the latest information on products and services also teach on a regular basis.
