ProQuest K-12 unites high quality content, standards-based curriculum and online technologies to offer complete programs of content, professional development, and support. Several services formerly available from bigchalk are now being provided by ProQuest Information and Learning as eLibrary. SIRS® electronic products are now available from ProQuest Information and Learning.

eLibrary

MLC's group subscriptions to eLibrary online databases run annually September 1 to August 31 for K12 schools, and July 1 to June 30 for Public and Academic libraries. New subscribers may join at any time and will be prorated for remaining contract months. For pricing and subscription information, please contact MLC.     eLibrary Curriculum Edition--an easy-to-use curriculum and reference resource--delivers one of the largest collections of periodical and digital media content designed specifically for K-12 schools and libraries. Powered by ProQuest’s MediaSeek knowledge base of educational standards, eLibrary CE connects educators and students to the best online resources to supplement instruction and research. Students find the answers they need from more than 2,000 full-text magazines, newspapers, reference books, and transcripts-plus thousands of pictures, maps, educator-approved websites from Homework Central, plus audio/video content.     is a highly respected general reference database containing thousands of full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, business, economic, political and global issues. Articles and graphics are carefully selected from 1,600 domestic and international publications according to strict criteria with regard to content and age appropriateness. Database features include World Almanac excerpts, Maps of the World, a Focus on Terrorism section, and our new Pro/Con feature that includes a compilation of the most-researched Leading Issues.

  • SIRS Decades
    features more than 5,000 hand-selected primary and secondary source articles highlighting key events, movements, people, and places in 20th-century America.
